ITV称第三季将于2017年2月27日（英国时间）回归，且会有一些新角色加入，并且第三季将是最终季。 第三季中Hardy警长和Miller警长再次联手，而Danny之死似乎永远也无法划下句号。作为最终季，第三季将关注于这一事件给涉及到的每个人带来的情感伤害，以及对友谊、亲情不可挽回的损伤。
