本季由克里斯·洛克主演，杰克·休斯顿、本·韦肖、詹森·舒瓦兹曼、蒂莫西·奥利芬特、杰西·巴克利、萨尔瓦托雷·埃斯波西托、Andrew Bird、Jeremie Harris等也出演。主创Noah Hawley回归，故事聚焦敌对的黑人黑帮和意裔黑帮： 1950年代，堪萨斯有两大黑帮犯罪团伙，一个意大利裔，一个非裔，总是作对的双方在某时达成了难得的和平。为维持关系，帮派双方头领同意交换各自的小儿子。 洛克饰演非裔团伙的老大Loy Cannon，不得不将自己的儿子送到敌人手中，并抚养敌人的儿子。但随后，意大利黑手党的头领进医院做常规手术，却死掉了，于是一切大乱。 这一季主题被描述为“移民、同化和我们为了钱能干出来的事”，两个移民群体的交集和冲突：意大利来的意裔，为躲避吉姆克劳法案而逃出美国南方的非裔，作为两个黑帮团伙，为了各自的一线美国梦而斗争。
